Artist: E A (Ernest Alfred) Sallis Benney.E. A. Sallis Benney exhibited landscape paintings at the Royal Academy, the Royal Society of British Artists, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the New English Art Club. His vision for art education led to his 1934 appointment as Principal of the School of Art, the precursor to the University of Brighton.
