Girls Uniform
- White blouse or yellow/white polo-shirt
- Grey skirt/trousers
- School blue sweatshirt/cardigan
- White socks
- Black shoes with no heels (for safety reasons)
- Boots not allowed (for safety reasons)
- Sandals not open-toed (again for safety reasons)
Parents are asked to provide their children with sensible footwear. Velcro fasteners or buckles on shoes are very helpful to the teachers of the youngest children.
Boys Uniform
- White shirt or yellow/white polo-shirt
- Grey trousers
- School blue sweatshirt
- Grey socks
- Black shoes
Children are provided with a peg on which to hang their school bag (not too large please!) No jeans are allowed in school. Please ensure that all clothing is clearly marked. Sweatshirts with the Ringshall School Logo are available for purchase at school but parents are free to choose to buy school uniform from any source.
PE Kit
- White cotton T-shirt
- Black or Blue shorts
- Plimsolls, plus suitable footwear for outside games.
PE kit should be brought to school on Monday and kept at school until Friday.
No watches or jewellery may be worn during PE activities. Earrings may only be worn in school if a child can take them out and replace them without assistance. In the case of newly pierced ears, parents must provide micropore tape, or similar, to cover the earrings during PE lessons for the few weeks until the earrings can be removed. For health and safety reasons, hair must be neatly and securely tied back.
Clothing grant
Families in receipt of Income Support or Job Seekers Allowance, whose child is newly entering school, may be eligible to make an application. This must be made either immediately prior to, or during, the term of entry.
