Celebration Assemblies
Every Friday we have a celebration assembly. Each teacher reports to the Headteacher about class behaviour and if it is good, (it usually is!) they get a class sticker on the School’s behaviour chart.
One child from each class is awarded a merit badge. This may be for anything – good attitude, a single act of kindness, or academic achievement. We also award one merit badge for singing, to someone seen and heard to be trying hard during assemblies. Merit badges can be worn for a week and are then handed back the following Friday.
The Mid Day Supervisors give a certificate for the best behaved class at lining-up time and stickers to individuals with good table manners or good playground behaviour.
